Shooting at Newhall either as a simulated game day with five clay pigeon traps or a live partridge and pheasant shoot.
The live partridge shooting starts at the beginning of September, usually ends in December and typically is for 100 to 150 bird days. The shoots starts at the top of the hill with some spectacular birds over the Gutterford Burn ravine. There are normally four drives before lunch and then a sit down lunch is provided in the shoot hut on the hill.
J.H: ”Can honestly say it was one of the most enjoyable days I have had in 20 years of shooting. Everybody was very friendly and hospitable. A good show of birds for late in the season and exceptional value for money. “
